| This thesis introduces the design and realization of DSS information system for institutions of higher education (IHEs) evaluation.The evaluation of higher education is an important measure to the national educational administration department carrying on the macroscopic management. The teaching evaluation system every five years has been established in China. The evaluation, which involves lots of data collecting, coordinating, analysis and data processing, is a complex and systematic project. Separate data processing consumes a lot and can't guarantee the uniformity and accuracy of data. In order to manage data and provide decision support, this thesis, which is an important project of Chengdu University of Technology for information construction, establishes the DSS system and studies the cost-performance model of IHEs based on the DEA.The thesis includes five chapters. Chapter 1 presents an introduction and background information of the study. Chapter 2 introduces database design, structure and development environment of the software. Chapter 3 introduces the basic conceptions and processing of DEA. Chapter 4 introduces the model of performance evaluation of input-output of IHES based on DEA. Chapter 5 introduces the application research of the model. The last part is conclusions and advices.The main achievements of this thesis are as follows:(1) Taking CDUT as the example, the perfect evaluation information management system of teaching level in IHEs is set up, which is based on the application environment of network with the function of B/S construction, pre-evaluation, managing the separate supporting material, information issue, and material passing on and downloading.(2) After the input-output of IHES been analyzed, the model of performance evaluation of input-output of IHEs based on DEA is constructed, which can carry on the evaluation and the analysis well to the relative cost-performance of IHEs and give the amending suggestion. |
