As a clean and efficient unconventional gas, coalbed methane, if used properly,not only can ease the situation of China’s current energy shortages, significantlyreduced the frequency of occurrence of coal mine gas caused by a major accident, butalso reduce greenhouse gas emissions effectively, generating enormous environmentalbenefits. With the continuous development of coalbed methane industry, the economicevaluation of coalbed methane projects reflects its growing importance and necessity.Paper first describes the research and application of economic evaluation ofcoalbed methane theory, decision support systems, combined with the current actualsituation, pointed out that the establishment of a fully functional economic evaluationof coalbed methane system based on Flex technology is important. Further elaboratedon the economic evaluation of coalbed methane achieve the necessary developmentenvironment for decision support platform, as well as the development processinvolved in the Flex, ASP.NET, Web Service, FluorineFx other key technologies.Secondly, the paper theoretical basis of the economic evaluation of coalbedmethane multi-objective programming model and data envelopment analysis modelelaborated. According to the characteristics and economic evaluation of coalbedmethane exploration and development of coalbed methane in the basic factorsinvolved, both in the analysis to determine the parameters required for the economicevaluation, and were constructed corresponding economic evaluation index system.Combining the characteristics of decision support systems, three libraries will besimple and practical structure model as the architecture of the platform and focuses onthe construction of the model library and database construction process.Finally, based on the completion of the platform requirements analysis andfunctional design, the economic evaluation of coalbed methane development toachieve a decision support platform, combined with the actual data in the study areaon the core functionality of the platform to do a validation analysis, the results showthat the system is running effectively, and has good operability and usability.
