Efficiency Study Of Cities Along Changjiang In AnHui Based On Data Envelopment Analysis

At present, as a cross-disciplinary, data envelopment analysis covers the management science, operations research, mathematical economics and many other subjects. And it has a huge advantage in many input and output indicators about the city efficiency research. At the same time it has important research significance on city competitiveness rankings and resource allocation rationality and city self-localization. Using data envelopment analysis needs to pay attention to two points. Firstly, the number of decision making units should not be less than2times the total number of input and output indicators; Secondly, strong linear relationship should be avoided between the indicators.This thesis discusses the meaning of index selection based on the theory of information entropy and the theory of factor analysis. This way avoids the subjectivity of artificial selected indicators, and plays a certain role in the establishment of index system about the cities along ChangJiang in AnHui. In addition, this thesis studies the cross efficiency model and ordered weighted averaging operator (OWA) theory, and gives the interval number comparison principle. We improve the combination of ordered weighted averaging operator (OWA) theory and cross efficiency model. And We have widened the scope of cross efficiency research.This thesis is composed of four parts:Firstly, we introduce the status, development trend and significance of the cities along ChangJiang in AnHui. We make a summary on domestic and international research status, and we do a simple analysis on the study of efficiency about the cities, and we give the main research content and framework clearly.Secondly, we introduce the theory of information entropy theory, the theory of factor analysis and data preprocessing. We have established the index evaluation system and identified the evaluation indicators about the cities along ChangJiang in AnHui.Thirdly, we present basic knowledge of data envelopment analysis theory, and introduce the main models of data envelopment analysis briefly, and give the interval number comparison theorem, and introduce the knowledge of cross efficiency model and OWA theory, and promote the scope of application, and gain some results.Fourth, we establish the index system, and study the efficiency and classification based on BCC model, and avoid the subjectivity of the artificial selection attribute. We study the interval data attributes based on the OWA theory and cross-efficiency model. According to the matrix of the cities we may get the corresponding rank vector, thus rank the cities and get the corresponding results.
