Cell Search is one of the key technology in the WCDMA baseband signal process. Variety optimized case are put out for the lower power and lower area design of Cell Search IP core. The thesis introduces the cell search process and the simplified algorithms realized in the engineering. Through the steps of design, the FPGA prototype , the tape-out of the ASIC, the Cell Search IP has been tested successfully and the WCDMA receiver works well.Cell search is one important part of the WCDMA downlink signal process. It is related with the WCDMA PHY. Based on the theory and the line of minimization of the circuit area and simplified the circuit calculation, the realizations of the steps of cell search are described and new reformed methods are put out. The IC is designed in pipeline framework.The points of this paper are parrel process and optimizing of the simplified algorithm.It is depended on the environment of system testbench. Based on our WCDMA receiver and the traditional cell search steps, the flow of the steps and its circuit modes and structs in detail are explained. In the same time,some important circuit part and some line of the poformence of the Cell Search are introduced in simple. |
