This paper describes the LTE Cell Search procedures with a main focus how togenerate and analyze the required signal.Cell search is a fundamental step for any cellularsystem, where process time and frequency synchronization between the UE (UserEquipment) and the network LTE.The cell search is Carried out by two synchronizationthat means that The Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS) which is need when the userequipment (UE) is connected to the first time to a cell or is looking for a new one to makea cell handover, and Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS) which is needed to providethe terminal about with information about the cell ID, frame timing properties and thecyclic prefix length.Physical broadcast channel (PBCH) which decoding to obtain thecritical system information.Finally simulation results for the Autocorrelation according tothe time shift of Primary and Secondary Synchronization Signal. |
