Rapid development of modern science and technology which is triggered a profound revolution of military science has greatly changed battlefield. The well-known Gulf-war starts the era of information warfare. Radar EW, which is regarded as a kind of important combat methods, has been abstracted more attention. Acquiring area advantage in information warfare on the base of study in Radar EW is an urgent task in military research.The researches on the combat effectiveness of RadarEW system focus on the abilities, applications and effectiveness of Radar EW equipments and systems. In order to make quantificational analyses, mathematics modeling and distributed simulation are adapted.In this dissertation, first, the basic conceptions of EW, Radar EW and combat effectiveness are made clear about internal characteristics, consist and tasks. Then, the evaluation factors architecture of Radar EW system combat effectiveness is set up, which is the base of quantificational evaluation. Second, mathematics modeling of radar EW reconnaissance, radar jamming and anti radiation attack are constructed. What's more, the status, characteristic and development of military simulation are described, and the HLA is selected as the rule of modeling and simulation. Finally, the designment of the simulation system and analyses the simulation results are described.The research described in this dissertation is a kind of multi-technology integrated application research. It involves many fields, such as Radar EW equipment, radar EW system, modeling and simulation technology, computer technology, software engineering, etc. In the area of mathematics modeling in Radar EW, these models have been modified fulfill fidelity and reliability on the base of many years reseach in National Key Laboratory of Electronic Warfare (NEWL). System combat effectiveness models had been supplied into this paper. In the area of modeling and simulation, all achievements are full of originality. All the models in this project have good reliability and reuse, and the simulation system in this project has good expansibility and agility.The research achievements have been used in many projects and other researches, and been awarded related science and technology prizes.
