TFT-LCD has the characteristics of little consumption , low driving voltage , non X ray radiation , apt to realize mass production , light and portable etc.It has dominated the market of FPD now. TFT technology have become leading technology in the field of liquid crystal display becauce of its high definition, large information capacity and full color.The embedded system is a kind of computer system with particular function. Because its purpose is to be used on practice. It has not only the flexibility whose software and hardware can be cut down easily , but also low cost, small volume , high dependability and low consumption . It has been developed very fast recently, it has already been widely used in industry,and greatly changed the styles of the people's life , working and amusing .Through I have studied on the working mechanism of LCD,especially the principle of driving TFT-LCD,I designed the LCM test instrument.The instrument is adopted LPC2210 as the core, which is the most frequently used chip of ARM series in the embedded designing at present. I designed the peripheral circuit needed. The test instrument was designed mainly for the test of the small size TFT-LCD. This paper introduced the whole process from hardware selecting of the instrument, drawing schematic paper, and layout to debuging each part of the hardware. The test system including power circuit, restoration circuit, pulse circuit, the circuit of the memory (SRAM and FLASH), JTAG interface circuit, the control circuit of the touch-panel, LCD interface circuit.There are two innovations in the hardware system in currency sorter field.One of the innovations is that the powerful chip LPC2210 of ARM series is applied on the test instrument for liquid crystal display module.and expand external memory ensure the large data volume because the ratio of small size TFT-LCD and the quantity of test picture are increasing.Because the powerful capabilities of processing datum of LPC2210,the test instrument is much faster and higher performance/price ratio than traditional test instrument and portable.The other one is the test instrument combine the...
