With the rapid development of science and technology, Instruments are expected to be inter-connected. By this means, information,software and hardware can be shared between instruments, for this reason, technology of inter-connected instruments is well developed.In industrial field, Bus protocols are various and a set of standard protocol is not made yet. In this case, How to make instruments that hold different bus interface connected with each other and how to make instruments controlled and accessed by remote computer? This paper will resolve these two problem, we will make a universal embedded gateway, using it, we can make Can(RS485) -Bus connected with Ethernet, in those occasion that need different Field Bus, we just change a single communication board and corresponding software, this largely enhances the competition of product, this product have hugely value.The other aspect of this paper is to make a set of center control and data acquisition system using KingView software.This paper mainly describes these contents as follows:1. The history of interconnected Instrument and the meaning of interconnected Instrument.2. Using which kind of chips to buildup our embedded gateway, how to make PCB, how to debug hardware.3. The difference between CAN Bus and Rs485 Bus in real-time character.4. How to make up cross-compile environment, How to plant a embedded Operation System in a system which using ARM7 processor.5. How to make a embedded GUI software which just used in our system, How to make a hardware driver for the Network Interface Controller and How to make CAN-Bus driver, especially CanOpen Protocol.6. How to buildup SCADA(Supervisor Control And Data Acquisition). Analyzing the deference of DDE and OPC, point out how to make a DDE client.7. To summary deficiencies of system and suggestion to improve it.
