Millimeter wave technology is one of the hot points of electromagnetic field engineering. In the W-band, because the power amplifiers are under research, the development of W-band system is limited. The injection locked can make power be amplified, but limited by the working state of the injection locked oscillator, the injection locked power amplifier can only work in continued-wave or pulsed-wave condition. This thesis will base on the character of the W-band frequency synthesis generator, using its synchronization output, design out its PA module, and make it work under CW-wave and pulsed-wave condition. When the input power is 1mW, this kind of PA module can output 95mW or 65mW in 92.5GHz or 96Ghz, and the band-with is 200MHz or 300MHz.This thesis describes the properties of millimeter wave, and development of the millimeter wave sources nowadays, and introduces the solid-state devices IMPATT diodes, and analyses the technology of the injection locked. Then this thesis gives out how to design the PA module in detail. And practical circuit is given out with the test result and analyses.
