The Design And Realization Of Multi-channel Remote Monitoring System (client)

Providing people intuitionistic, convenient and abundant information, Video Monitoring systems have been widely used in production management, ensuring public security and so on. They have also become an important measure of security monitor on finance, traffic, business, electric power, police, the CIQ, national defense, community, etc. With the rapid development of Internet and monitoring technology, nowadays, there are more and more people that focus on video monitoring on Internet and it have also become a mainly development trend of monitoring technology.On basis of monitoring system in the Indoor Monitoring Application ,the paper constructs a remote monitoring system based on Client/Sever architecture. Synthesizing the technology of network communication, multimedia and auto control, the server provide many function, such as data capturing, real time displaying, storage alarming, device controlling and network communication etc, which supports sixteen monitoring channels at the most. The ending client software is the platform of PC users who perform remote monitoring and long distance control on server.Because of big size and complex structure, the software touches much knowledge. The paper introduces the application background of monitoring system, then the following two chapters discusses the multimedia transmission , MPEG-4 standard , network programming technology and directshow programming technology. The fourth and fifth chapters are the core parts of the paper, about the implementing, debugging and analysis, mostly including following contents:(1) Separating the function modules of client software.(2) Design dual-buffers,bring a self adapting setting way of playing threshold value, which can improve the influence of network dithering delaying on video.(3) By Directshow framework, play the MPEG-4 file and real-time media stream, including designing the filter graph and several filters.
