The dissertation aims to research and design the structure of future theoretic palace substantially. We first use the thought of Ontology to explicate the substratum of theoretic system structure in modern archives, which is archival practice experience. Then, we utilize the Methodology of Scientific Research Programmes which is presented by Imre Lakatos to construct an archival theoretic mold. The theoretic mold includes archival theoretic core, basic theories and practical theories. It accepts the traditionalidea of two layers—— basic theories and practical theories and adds a layer—archival theoretic core. Furthermore, we amend traditional homocentric roundness into acentric roundness in the layer structure. So, the point in the theoretic layers solve structure barrier of knowledge exchange in different layers. It makes archival theories have more cosmoses and also makes archival theories more open. The paper goes into the inside of layer structure in archival theoretic system and it presents the molds and contents of the theoretic core, basic theories and practical theories. The paper also analyzes inner constitutive elements and constituent forms and it displays the explanatory and predictive functions by using some specific moots. The research of theoretic system structure in modern archives will provide a structural base that makes archival theories become into a logical—deductive system. The paper will also accelerate modern archives' conversion from experiential science into explanatory science.
