The Logical Starting Point For Modern Archival Science Theory

The phenomenon of binary structure in archival material entity first discovered in the practice of electronic records, then we found it could also be discovered in any type of archives if historical contexts could exist absolutely with using computer and related technology as well as fictitious sorting techniques. This paper selected it as a start, then abstracted the ubiquitous and advanced phenomenon related to the structure of archival material as a concept, which provided the possibility of being the logical starting point of modern archival theories.After that, we affirmed this abstract concept as the logical starting point of modern archival theories was based on the description and stipulation in philosophy. Being the logical starting point of modern archival theories, this abstract concept must come from impersonal phenomenon in archival practice, which exists outside the archival theoretical system, cannot be changed and testified by archival theories. The establishment of the logical starting point of modern archival theories can only result in the important transformation in archival theoretical system which cannot change the substantiality of that abstract concept.The reason why we restricted the abstract concept as the logical starting point of modern archival theories with some related provisions in philosophy is that not all abstract concepts could become the starting point of theoretical deduction, as the reflection of which must be a contradiction object with diversity and unity. Then the abstract concept that reflects the object could become the starting point of dialectic thinking.Furthermore, it is far from plenary persuasion to prove the abstract concept —binary structure in archival material entity accorded with the provisions related to the logical starting point in philosophy only .
