For the acquiring of Geo-electric signal in the process of collecting, in this thesis,introduce a multi-channels data acquisition circuit using a single microcontroller chip.In this design, the data sampling and controlling system is based on SUNPLUS 16-bitmicrocontroller SPCE061A. Eight channels Analog/Digital Converter is embedded inthis chip, seven channels among of them is used to converting analog data to digitaldata(such as voltage) and the last one is used specially to sampling sound signal.Besides, a CPLD chip (EPM7128, production of Altera Co.) is used in this circuit asan assistant controller in order to get a real-time, conveniently controlling,high-efficiency and stable circuit.The programmable data sampling can be realized in this circuit. The user can setthe sampling parameter on the computer, such as sampling frequency. The programsof the computer are complied under the Visual C++ circumstance. In these programs,many functions are achieved, such as parameter setting, serial data sending andreceiving, data displaying and data storing.The sampling circuit system communicates with the computer through the serialport. RS-232 voltage-converting circuit is needed between the computer and themicrocontroller. The computer sends the instructions to the microcontroller andreceives the data from it. Using the SPCE061A' embedded-in hardware devices, thesystem can carry out multi-function according to the user's request. Experimentsshow that the design is feasible. Taking full advantage of SPCE061A, the system is oflow power consumption, low cost and high stability.The work finished in this thesis is as follows: 1. System's hardware circuit hasbeen designed, include analog circuit part, digital circuit part and other hardwarecircuit interface. 2. Program for the microcontroller and hardware logic of CPLD withVHDL language has been designed. 3. Software program of system has been designed,including collecting and processing parts. As the result, get a multi-channels signalacquisition circuit. The thesis consists of six chapters: the foreword, summary of thewhole circuit, design of the analog circuit, Analog/Digital converter and hardwaredesign of the digital circuit, software design, test of the circuit and conclusion.
