Osgi-based Sms Platform Design And Application

Intelligent Home Networks for Home is the high-tech offspring of information age. Adopting modern network technology to put various appliances together into Internet, It provides abundant, various, individuation, convenient, easement, security and high efficiency services. Along with the more interests in Intelligent Home gradually, Intelligent Appliances have entered into society and home. On the base of this background, the thesis puts forward a solution for Intelligent Home Network. Applying OSGi specification into Intelligent Residential Gateway, Putting the wireless communication into home network, It finally realizes telemonitoring and temperature alarm system based on GSM communication.Firstly, this thesis introduces the development and architecture of Intelligent Home Network. According to the ISO 7 layers model, it discusses every layer's protocol and standard of the architecture. Among the layers, Application layer is the key technology of Intelligent Home Network. Comparing the OSGi specification with HAVi, Jini and UPnP, we know OSGi specification is more commonality. It is able to remedy and improve other protocols and standards, satisfying the request of Intelligent Home Network.Secondly, the origin and character of OSGi are introduced. This thesis describes the architecture of OSGi service gateway, and analyzes how to run the applications, including life cycle management, service Registry, security.Thirdly, the import part is the design and realization of telemonitoring and temperature alarm system. It divides into two parts: The first part is OSGi Bundle— GSM service module which realizes the fundamental function ,such as sending and receiving short messages. The other part is the design of telemonitoring and temperature alarm system. "Control Center" accomplishes monitor, which helps GSM service module to communication with other home appliances. Then , this thesis designs "Distribution temperature detection system" which communications with "Control Center" and GSM device to realize the monitor and automatic alarm of Home Appliances.Lastly, some disadvantages and improvements of the communication system are summarized.
