Intelligent Home Residential Security Alarm System Based On ZigBee Technology

With the development of our national economy and rising living standards, people's security consciousness gradually improved, intelligent family home security alarm system are more extensivly used. ZigBee Wireless Sensor Network which involves many subjects has become the new researching hotspot focused by many countries. It includes various technologies, such as sensor technology, wireless communication technology and embedded technology. It has the ability to collect, transmit and process information.The current smart home residential security alarm system is built through wire,which makes the expandability of the system low while rises the expense. Besides, there is a blind area in this wiring way. The paper adds the Zigbee into the system to bypass wiring and get lots of advantage.The smart home residential security alarm system designed in this paper includes a end device placed in the house which forms the basic wireless node and receives messages, a router which is made to be a gateway of the transmission path and a coordinator which collects messages from all the nodes. It reduces the cost by using machines as the message transmission path. The end device includes MC9S08GT60 and MC13193. It forms the nodes and the router. While the coordinator needs more resources, so it is designed by using MC9S12DG128 and MC13193. The paper designs the whole hardware circuit based on the above program.On software design, this paper realizes end devices receiving messages from every sensor and joining the wireless net, ZigBee router devices joining the net and performing as the router gateway and the coordinator forming the whole net of the system through studying IEEE 802.15.4 protocol and ZigBee specifications. At last it realizes the net working normally and the network of the smart home residential security alarm system based on ZigBee.By debugging it indicates that the intelligent home residential security alarm system based on ZigBee technology designed in this paper can fully use various advantages of ZigBee, such as low cost, small energy consumption, big network capacity and high reliance. It can conduct real-time, highly efficient and accurate danger management, effective in eliminating the hidden dangers with simple maintenance, improving the security of house greatly. Also the system designed in the paper can be expanded. The focus of the future work is making the system connecting with the PC to join the Internet and realizing the Internet controlling of the intelligent home residential security alarm system.
