The Research On The Compatibility Of The Intelligent Home Gateway And Its Implement

The intelligent home network is another gift for human being at the information times. It connects all kinds of devices and household appliances based on the technology of the computer network, provides services conveniently and safely.The home gateway is the important media to connect the devices within the home network. Its responsibility is to transmit the information in the home network and control the devices to finish one job. There are often several gateway devices in one home network.The intelligent home network is a prospect market now. Many companies are absorbed in it. They developed a lot of produces successfully. Many devices now are used in the family such as the intelligent household device, network refrigeratory , digital camera and so on .There are different devices in the same home gateway which base on the different protocol now. At the same time, the desire for the connection in these devices is growing.But these devices produced by different companies always supportone special protocol. That's impossible to connect all of these devices smoothly using these different protocol. One special protocol such as OSGi(Open Service Gateway initiative),UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) is an absolutely system. Using this same protocol, the devices can connect each other ,but it cannot be sure to connect the devices using another protocol. These devices also won't add some components to enable this connection because of the productive cost and efficiency.In order to enforce the connection between the devices and not add the cost for that communication, this article provides a way to resolve this question.The model dedicates to resolve the compatibility of home gateway. The home gateway is often used as a device to control the devices using one protocol. If we can resolve the compatibility of these home gateways, we can do resolve the connection between the devices.At last, we designed a test system to verify the model.
