With the rapid development of Liquid Crystal Display Technology, the LCD monitors become more perfect and the price of the products become less low. Now, in the monitor's market the LCD monitors have gain more than 50% occupation. But most LCD monitors only support using the analog RGB signal as input .It is rarely seen in current market, which can support using both analog RGB and digitized RGB signal as input, and can receive TV signal. The designed system can process analog RGB signal and digitized RGB signal and all kinds of TV signal. It has achieved maltifunction of one system and reduced the user cost.In this article the makeup and principium of the system are discussed in detail, and the idea on how to design the software and hardware is discussed emphatically. In hardware design the main desire is to reduce total cost of the system ensuring the performance of the system. Processing about the interface of high speed data transmission, designing method of multi-output high efficiency power, extract and insertion arithmetic about image processing, processing method of TV signal, processing method of analog RGB and digitized RGB signal from PC are all introduced. In software design, the main desire is to offer secure interface between man and machine, to discriminate different mode of signal, to process all kinds input signal, to manage the power of different parts in the system. In this article the initialization method of the software , the processing flow of analog and digitized RGB signal, the processing method of the encoded infra signal are all introduced, too.In this system the main used hardware include: main control unit W78E516B, image processor EL7301, high frequency signal receiver and control IC, TV image encoding circuit SAA7111A, receiving and demodulating circuit of digitized RGB signal Si151B, the parameter storage circuit AT24C16 and so on. The functions and control methods of all these circuits are all discussed in this article. Among these circuits EL7301 is the core , all functions are expanded basing on it .And all circuits are under the control of MCU (W78E516B) .Functions about every module are all introduced in detail, some detail flow charts are also provided.Now, the system has been finished, all parts of the system can work properly, and it is produced in batch.
