Coal boiler is a kind of important device, and has significant state in the development of national economy. In recent years, as people's consciousness of energy and environment protection is building up, on-line measurement and optimization control of boiler production process has become one of the hot research aspects in the area of energy, environment protection and control. This paper analyzes boiler energy-exchange process's multi-input, multi-output characters, and the characters of big time lag and tight coupling. On the basis of full research of basic theory of fuzzy control, fuzzy neural network (FNN) is put forward and a boiler control system based on FNN is exploited.The boiler combustion process of coal combustion characteristics and boiler combustion heat radiation heat transfer characteristics of the boiler combustion process are analyzed. The multi-variable, multi-loop, nonlinear, delayed, time-varying characteristics are described.Using FNN inference fuzzy controller is established. Real-time on-line measurement of key parameters in combustion process is realized and the problem of time domain matching for measurement and control in boiler control is solved.Simulate the major steam pressure of FNN controller. From the result, a more satisfied control effect and obvious improvement is obtained by comparison with the traditional PID control. The system overshoot and the transition time are reduced.
