Boiler is an important equipment supplying energy in the national economy, electric power, machinery, metallurgy, chemical industry, textile industry, paper-making industry, food industry, as well as civil heating all need a great of energy supplied by boiler. Its combustion process is a complex process of multiple-input and multiple-output with large inertia, large delay, changing parameters. Many traditional boiler combustion control system use the PID, but it is impossible to provide high-quality control for the process with large inertia, large delay and changing parameters, the method to solve these problems is adopting more effective technology than PID.The article studies based on the combustion system of a 60t/h coal-fired steam boiler. Firstly, the craft of coal-fired steam boiler and main tasks of boiler combustion system automatic control are introduced. The analysis to drum water level control, steam pressure control, economic burning control and furnace pressure control is carried out respectively, then improve the structure of every sub-system. Subsequently, the basic theory and method to achieve of fuzzy control and genetic algorithm is introduced. Focus is the design to drum water level control based on the self-adaptive fuzzy-PID and steam pressure fuzzy-PI control based on genetic algorithm, thereby achieve the PID parameters'real-time online adjustment and the fuzzy control rules'optimization.After the theory analysis and intelligence control method design to the water level control and steam pressure control, the corresponding MATLAB simulation is done, then aquire the simulation curve. Finally give the actual running curve of application to intelligence control algorithm. The results of simulation and experiment show the effectiveness of the method expounded in this article.
