With the popularization of the computer network application and the foundation anddevelopment of synergetic, cooperative computing well be a new and popular form ofcomputing in the new century. It becomes more and more exigent that people in all of the worldhope to use computer and network to support cooperative work. As a result of the informationtechnology progressing, especially the great development of computer technology andcommunication technology, and computer network technology and the application developmentwhich the two fusions produce, has provided a more powerful support to the cooperative scienceresearch. The Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), appearance of the researcharea can be the recent development of cooperative science in information and digital economicaltime. At the same time it also provides powerful support for cooperative science and cooperativeproject research, it has the extremely broad application domain.The rising of the network workstation and the gradually disappearance of mainframecomputer, resource in network assumes a distributional characteristic. In order to fully use thedistributed computing resource and data resource in network, the computation processing modelalso be required transforming from centrally to distributional.But some formidable traditional computing systems, like MATLAB which based on singlecomputer user. It's very necessivery to Make these computing systems to provide the networkservices and have the cooperative computation function. The CSCW system supports multi-userin dispersed geographical position, it's essential technology Web Service has formidablefunction and huge development potential. Based on Web Service to realize network service andcooperative computing of MATLAB computing system , it is worth studying and is a feasiblework.Therefore, Stimulated by the above reason, this article based on the widely investigation ofCSCW technology and cooperative computing technology, has carried on thorough discussionon the working pattern, the conditions paradigm and the main technology of cooperativecomputing, and has produced a specific application example: Based on Web Service to expandtraditional software MATLAB, the target is fully using network software and hardware resourceto call MATLAB resource service in network, transform MATLAB from the traditional work tothe collatorative computing, including digital computation and imagery processing function. Themain work of this article is following:Chapter 1, introduces the main questions of distributed computing, the developmentbackground of cooperative computing and CSCW, the development of cooperative computing,and has analyzed the main questions which exist in MATLAB network transfer technology.Chapter 2, has investigated the background of cooperative computing and CSCW.Introduces the system structure and running structure of cooperative computing software . Hasdiscussed the CSCW model structure and the CSCW superiority .Chapter 3, carries on investigation and study on the essential technical of CSCW: CORBAand Web Service. Mainly includes the structures, essential technology, and mutually operationalof the two systems, introduces the essential technology of Web Service in detail. Based on thethorough discussions for the two technologies, the author summarizes several technicaldifferences between CORBA and Web Service, because of so many merits in Web Service,introduces Web Service to the CSCW system.Chapter 4, has proposed two kinds of CSCW cooperative computing working patterns basedon Web Service and has given the visualized description. Researching three computation modelsof CSCW, has designed one cooperative computing system model frame based on these threekinds of CSCW models, elaborating the function of each main module in the frame.Chapter 5, based on the cooperative computing frame which the fourth chapter proposes,thoroughly investigates and studies the interfaces of MATLAB with other languages, and theexpansion function essential technology, has designed the MATLAB cooperative computingsystem frame based on CSCW technology, elaborates the function of each main module in theframe, and shows the interactive model during various modules in the system by the UMLsuccession chart mode.Chapter 6 , software programming, using C#. NET to program the system, using VB. NETto expansion the MATLAB interface. Has conducted the thorough research to the MATLABActiveX interface, uses VB to expand the MATLAB interface;Uses XML sequence to seal thedata;Has discussed the principle of the system and the function implementation of the datacompression/solution compression and the server administration module. Has produced theessential code implementation to the above important modules . Programming the core modules,and gives the Case realization for value computation and the graphics processing.Chapter 7, future works are discussed and estimated under a well summarization on theresearch processes and achievements of the whole thesis.
