| Internet has brought extremely changes into people's life in this era of high-speed development in electronic and information technology. As the other business did, education has also taken the benefit of internet and become a part of this internet era. Long-distance online education is a new education model and a good example of joining education and electronic and information technology together, and will be as important as the traditional education model in the future.Compared with the traditional education, Long-distance online education possesses some unparalleled advantages which traditional education does not have. One of them is that it breaks the restriction of time and place. With this advanced educational method, Students can learn what they need at any place any time they want, so learning time becomes more flexible for the busy people and lifelong learning also find some possibility. The second is that, long-distance education costs much less than the traditional one, because it does not need the classroom, and what's more, one taped course can be used repeatedly forever; we can call that'permanent use of an input'. And third, students can customize what they actually need in online education, avoiding the situation that there're lots of information but useless to students.But as the saying goes, one sword has two sides, long-distance online education also has some disadvantages, for instance, low efficiency. Lack of communication with companion, study lonely and some other factors, all of those together conceive a big possibility of low efficiency. In regarding to this, what we did is to apply Collaborative Learning(CSCL), the specific application of CSCW, into the online education to deal with the problem of isolation and guidlessness. This reflects the essence of CSCW which is that with the computer and network technology, a geographically dispersed group can complete a task through coordination and collaboration .CSCL is a teaching theory and strategy that originated in America in the early 70th and has made a substantial progress in the education over the past ten years. Now it has been widely used in the foreign countries and play an active role in improving the psychological atmosphere in class, enhancing the academic performance of students, and developing students'non-cognitive quality, and the results are remarkable.Groupment, interaction, distributivity and cooperation are the four substantive characteristics of people's multiple life style, and with the development of Multimedia Computer Technology, computer can collect, show and deal with this kind of multiple information; Computer network, as the Crystallization of computer and communication technology, has the efficacy far away beyond the ones when computer and communication technology separately exist. It reduces the limit of time and place to people's activity, promotes effectively the interaction and cooperation among the group, further expands the field of application of information technology. This is in the rang of Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW). As a part of people's life, study also possesses the characteristics, like Groupment, interaction, distributivity and cooperation, so it is meaningful to research the CSCL supported by computer.This system mainly falls in the field of developing a universal teaching platform in mobile network with the guide of CSCL and facing to the third-generation mobile network platform. With help of some technological means, such as, large-scale teaching scene live show, multi model interactive cooperation, organizing community, this system will raise people a rich learning experience in digital mobile, build a natural teaching environment based on the CSCL, provide a new multi-model interactive teaching service and set up an example how it works. All of these functions can fulfill users'request that they can get the multimedia Digital content with mobile terminal and do the Collaborative Learning.In accordance with the CSCL teaching thoughts and in combination of online education model, this system has conceived a characteristic education platform after the various researches in domestic online education. First of all, in this essay, it introduces us the background of this system development and also some key technologies, for example, Chinese word segmentation, and collaborative work. And then, after it generally designed the whole system, it focus on the detail design of its subsystem--CSCL, it also mentioned the hardware environment and the security measure for the system. In chapter 5, it summaries some achieved function of this system. And finally, it has a detail test for the operation of this system, and got theexpected result.After the testing and verification, this education platform can be run stably, can support a large-scaled teaching live programmed, can bring convenience to the teacher management in online education through the technology of cooperation and multi-modal interaction, and also can improve the social and psychological atmosphere in class, aiming to make students achieve a good command of knowledge absorption and enhance their academics achievement.It is definitely that with the development of computer technology, our network carrying capacity will become larger, video coding will be better, collaborative learning model will be further improved and collaborative online education will develop into a new era.
