As concerning goods' movement in time and space, the logistics now highly relys on the geography space data, while logistics information system based on the WebGIS technology has the significant impact on logistics visualization, real-time dynamic management analysis and support decision-making and so on. So because of the repaid development of GIS technology and modern logistics, the integration of the two becomes the inevitable. Modern logistics information system can be regard as logistics operations and logistics support decision-making real-time, dynamic logistics information systems, from the spatial analysis or geographic analysis and visualization management perspective, based on GIS technology and combinning positioning technology, communications technology, Web technology.But due to the limitation of industry policy, security and commercial interests, spatial information data are separate and relatively secret. Logistics enterprises are difficult to share these valuable spatial data and apply logistics information system applications to satisfy spatial information need.Since lack of finance and technical supoort, individual logistics enterprise is difficult to establish an effective logistics information system based on GIS.the establishing of this kind of logistics information system needs assoicated logistics enterprises together to build a unified logistics data sharing scenario and logistics information platform, namely, public spacial logistics information systems. The public spacial logistics information system platforms is built on various enterprise information systems and its purpose is to achieve data sharing, information sharing and industrial guidance. The platform not only intergrades dispersed logistics resources, constructs virtual electronic market of logistics service but also provides the unified management for compete-partner relation logistics enterprises.This dissertation introduces the WebGIS into the logistics information system and builds a public spacial logistics information systems architecture based on WebGIS. At the end of the dissertation we construct a four hiberarchy public spacial logistics information system based on WebGIS and provide the technology solution to essential module of this system.
