The flight control system is important for aeroplane, and its' level decides performance and safety of aeroplane. Some extent, an advanced flight control system has become a symbol of a modern airplane.The flight control computer is important for useability, reliability and stability of system as a component, and the software system of flight control computer is important to performance of flight control computer.The paper researches and develops a software system of flight control computer on based VxWorks and PowerPC for dissertation that researches the testing aerocraft about the flight platform of pilotless aircraft.Firstly, to build an embedded development platform on Ampro's EnCorePP1 board on which VxWorks runs. Then, BSP is created for software system of flight control computer. The VxWorks' booting process is compared with Linux's one in source code, analyzing and improving VxWorks' bootring process on performance.Secondly, the paper compares and discusses some characteristics of VxWorks as real time operation system with Linux on the basis of requirement of flight control system. At the same time, to analyze the system architecture of PowerPC . Optimization and balance of performance is analyzed and researched for the embedded system from software and hardware views.Thirdly, to design and complete some drivers of devices, and the software modules of flight control computer.Finally, the system are tested with Real-time simulated experiment of Matlab/RTW.Based on practice, the paper studies the real-time performance of a flight control computer that affects a flight control system, and aids in successfully designing and developping the software system of flight control computer. The hardware platform of system is EnCorePPl developped board that used MPC8245 of MOTOROLA. The system passes the test of the real-time simulated experiment of Matlab/RTW.
