In the remote control system which based on the Internet, there are lots of system's controls data need transmit by the Internet, such as the management data, real-time control order data and real-time condition information of the controlled object. Therefore, the data transmission mechanism, especially the real-time data, will quite affect the system control quality. This paper studied with emphasis on how to transmit data on network. According to the different characteristic of the data, this paper gives out the different transmission protocol solutions. For the RTP/UDP real time data transmission method which proposed in this paper, it was primly implement by programming.Firstly, the paper introduced the development and application of remote control system which based on the Internet, pointed out its research characteristic and the significance, thoroughly studied the domestic and foreign research present situation of remote control, and analysis the main difficulties and main technical questions which need to solve on this research. In this foundation, the system control mode has further studied, and proposed the system structure, the module C/S pattern which based on the B/S module. The paper also analyzed the composition of the system network transmission delay and the major effect factors, and produced the concrete solution.Secondly, the paper pays attention on how to transmit data on network in the remote control system. After analyzed the existing Internet transmission protocol UDP and TCP, the paper gives out the real time transmission protocol for remote control system. For the different kind data, after analyses, the paper carried out the classification, according to its characteristics, specifically produced the different transmission protocol solutions. For the massive real-time feedbacks data, the paper proposed the solution which based on the RTP/UDP real time data transmission protocol. In addition, the paper briefly introduced the new technical IP multicast which has the possible application in remote control.Thirdly, the paper designed and confirmed the RTP/UDP real time data transmission protocol. The paper proposed the agreement principle of design, designed and realized the RTP and RTCP protocol in remote control, for the data transmission quality of service in RTP/UDP, produced the solution, and carried on the experimental confirmation under the laboratory environment, the result is good.Finally, the paper designed and realized a remote traffic control system which based on Internet. Concretely designed the system framework and function structure, discussed the question of data transmission in the system and realized the user control interface to the systematic host end by programming.
