With Internet being applied more and more widely, the real remote control in electromechanics becomes true. The remote control system based on Internet is inevitable. But, with the various kinds of threat exist in Internet, reliability of remote control system is serious. System reliability is carried on research in this article, and the system reliability model, technology and protocol have put forward. These improve system reliability and are of important theory and practical value. The article has analyzed the current research of domestic and international at first. The key technology such as the system basic theories, network scheme, control method and system reliability design philosophy based on the reliability model are put forward. Then, several kinds of technology of improving reliability have been put forward. The system is structured with the distributed technology .NET Remoting. Virtual Private Network is adopt assisted with data encrypting, fire wall in order to improve the reliability of the system network. The reliable technology such as model, redundance and Watchdog is used in hardware and software design to improve the reliability. On the basis of reliability and OSI model, the architecture of Remote Control System Protocol(RCSP) is made. The reliability of RCSP is analyzed combine with TCP/IP Protocol and Stream Control Transmission Protocol. Also a reliable RCSP protocol is designed based on UDP to meet the requirement of remote control system. Finally, a traffic remote control system based on Internet is realized. On the basis of RCSP, reliability framework, etc. The traffic control system and main function model are designed. An UDP data channel and a real-time video monitoring model are realized.
