For Industrial Automation Equipment Interconnection Device Description Language To Define And Implement

With the development of electronic and software technology, industrial automation instruments enter a new age of digitalize and interconnect, and new type of smart instrument based on fieldbus technology appears.The most popular fieldbus technology was developed by the foreign companies. Though the fieldbus protocol is opened to the public to extend their market, and some organization has been setup to manage it, the core technologies are still controlled by them. The manufactory of China only can produce low level instruments. The system configure software, master station of communication and portable communicator are imported up till now. The manufactory of China can not contest with the foreign company at the same level of technology.This thesis is aimed to device description language - a core technology of fieldbus protocol. The result is a HART protocol communicator. The research is divided into several parts, including the application model of DDL, the specifications of DDL, the design of compiler and the execution mechanism of DDL. Simulator software based on PC and communicator based on embedded system are developed, and two patent have been authorized on the communicator.In application model, DDL should base on 4 element: variable, command, method and menu.Meanwhile, new DDL specifications have been designed, which are compatible to the specifications from HART communication. As an enhancement, the new DDL specifications support Chinese font. And virtual machine and instruction set have been designed to provide limited ability of program.Finally, a compiler and an execute program have been developed based on new DDL specifications.
