XX naval vessels monitoring system is an important part of its integrated electric propulsion monitoring and management system. According to the arrangement of China XX Equipment Research Lab Naval vessels Department, SSSRI is mainly responsible for R&D of XX naval vessels integrated electric propulsion monitoring and management system. The monitoring system acquires data from input module, then transfer date to the host computer for display, and send date to the control system through output module. Display terminals can show measure parameters when necessary. According to the demand of military products—modularization of function, standardization of devices and universalization of modules with the same function, the SSSRI Military Product Department has designed a scheme of high-speed data monitoring based on ISP technique. In this paper, the scheme of ISP-based naval vessels data monitoring system is discussed and the design of I/O module is also described. There are five chapters. Each has an introduction as follows:Chapter One mainly describes the background of this project and the task. Compared with traditional data monitoring system, the ISP-based data monitoring system has many advantage which overcome the limitation of traditional data acquisition system, and meet the demand of modem data monitoring system. The I/O module of the scheme is based on Lattice ispLSI series CPLD.Chapter Two has a detailed description on the structure and characteristics of ispLSI device and programming principle, and the design flow of ispLSI device.Chapter Three addresses the modules of the ISP-based data monitoring system and the functional characteristics of each module. The schematic diagram is also discussed.Chapter Four focuses on the typical procedure of designing the smart logic controlled I/O module with analog input/output, the detailed control scheme, and the schematic circuit diagram of modules and analyses of control logic. It also contains the description of interface of I/O module with smart logic controlled on/off value and its logic design scheme.In chapter Five, the main function of smart measure& control module is validated through experiment. The performance of this module is also analyzed briefly.
