Gao Shengtao (Electrical Engineering)Directed by Qi Zhiping & Wang PingWith the development of Numerical Control technology and the wide spread application of complex shaped parts, PC-based numerical control systems are widely used in many fields, including: mechanical, electronic, computer, and automaticcontrol. Hence, the requirements of the servo control card are getting much sophisticated. In this thesis, the research work and implementation details of a 6 axes servo control card are discussed. This card is based on the TI Company抯 DSP chip TMS320F240 and has realized the following functions: a) signal encoder, b) position limit, c) dual RAM communication with CPU, d) coordinated control e) DIA conversion. To reduce the size and increase the reliability of the control card, Lattice Company抯 ispLSI chip is used to realize the digital logic circuit. Its insystem programmable ability makes it easy to realize the design of digital logic circuit. To make full use of the high speed of DSP, this thesis proposed coordinated principle of 6 axes, which will greatly increase the precision of motion control, and the thesis also gives some programs of DSP and has implemented it in the evaluation card.
