Usb Host Side Data Acquisition Card

The data acquisition based on the USB Host proposed one new data storage model of the acquired data, it is one new milestone of the development of the data acquisition storage. This data acquisition system stores the acquired data into the portable disk directly through the USB bus, so this system is outlayable, portable and inexpensive.This paper is about the whole phase of developing the data acquisition system, including: hardware design, low level driver design and high level data view software design.The hardware design of the data acquisition is about the chip selecting and data acquisition circuit design.The low level driver controls the data acquisition, data transmission and data storage. It cites many protocols such as USB V2.0, Mass Storage, FAT16, FAT32, so it is the most complex part in the whole system design.The high level data view software shows the acquired data by report and cure off line.At last we do one experiment of acquiring the sine wave from one signal generator to test this data acquisition system, finding that the high level software shows the sine wave well.
