Internet-based Adult Higher Education Enrollment Management System

This is a part of Information System for Shandong Provincial Adult Advanced Education.Student information management is a critical part in adult advanced education management system, including profile information, grading, profile changing, examining information for graduation and so on. Computer has been used in the student information management for a long time and successfully. The early student information management was done by stand-alone system and the data was gathered in the educational administration department at the beginning and end of the term by floppy disc because all the information was collected dynamically, calculated and put together in different departments and outside loci which were separated and out of the LAN. There are disadvantages in this kind of mode.1. The dynamical management is out of real time.2. The data transfer and processing of the student information can not be done at the same time as the work flow of the management of student information and the data can not be shared because of the different systems in different departments and outside loci.3. Electro-registration has been used in the diploma of advanced education in China. But it is hard to connect to the electro-registration system of the Ministry of Education accurately because of the different systems in different colleges.The software system of educational- management is about the management of student information and the electro-registration of diploma in all adult colleges to improve the efficiency of the management of both student information and diploma, and to standardize the management process and information criterion. According to the management flow of the experienced specialists and administrators of student information, it incarnates the object-oriented ideas by using the information technology of distributed database, software reuse, data encryption and network. It strengthens the consolidated management of the students by the management from handiwork to computer.The main point in the article concerns:1. The design of student information management system on network is put forward based on the research of student information management in adult advanced education.2. The design of software and database in system function is carried out by using C language and SQL Server database.3. The system mode of distributing transaction and centralized management is brought forward.4. The idea of data interface which is isomerous, multisource and videotex is put forth.5. The combination and application of CRM and data mining is experimentedby analyzing the principium and arithmetic of the combination and application of CRM and data mining.The new ideas in the article are the system of distributing transaction and centralized management in student information management, the technology of data transfer between the port of different departments and outside loci and the port of the educational administration department, the design of data stream mode in student information management, the idea of data interface which is isomerous, multisource and videotex, the achievement of information transmission in student information management and so on which are all based on internet.
