As a kind of important modern technology, Image processing is already been widely used in such fields as communication, spaceflight aviation, remote sensing telemetering measurement, biomedicine, military, information safety, etc. The implementation technique of image processing especially high-resolution real-time image processing has far-reaching meanings to the development of relevant fields. The main task of our project is to design a high image processing card which can process the high images timely with multi-modes. The FPGA chip is the system core of this card based PCI bus. This paper presents the system scheme of the high image processing card. The paper mainly presents the research of the key technique of the dataflow controls,including : the realization of the PCI interface controls,the control of the DDR-SDRAM memory that read or written by FPGA, I2C operation ,data transmission in DMA method,PC-FPGA communication,etc. Firstly, the system scheme of the high image processing card which can process the high images timely is introduced. Secondly, the paper introduced the design and realization of PCI interface and the design of DDR-SDRAM's interface controller based on FPGA. After that, the design of the PC control is introduced.Finally introduced the application of the design mentioned above in the system, and provided the the simulation results. At the same time, the paper gives an example of the application that the image processing card is used in large field of view panoramic image system. The simulation result indicates that the design mentioned in the paper can be conveniently and effectively appllied to the image processing card to accomplish the functions of the dataflow controls (I2C operation,image transform parameter data transmission,DDR-SDRAM controller,PC-FPGA communication,etc).
