The Dissertation was written with the ATE Test Platform about research and realization of general-utility and fault diagnostic reasoning and the task I have accomplished in the subject. With test technology developing and test cost increasing, realization of general-utility in automatic test system and combining test with fault diagnostic reasoning is very popular. ATE Test Platform provides the platform that can be used to develop automatic test system by architecture of software and hardware , which can satisfy requirement of general-utility and reduce test cost,as well improve utilization of test resource.Phased array radar test system is a instance that is developed by platform.It has been realized radar parameter test and fault diagnostic reasoning,also meets requirement of general-utility.The paper emphatically discusses general-utility of platform and radar parameter test and fault diagnostic reasoning.The content as following: 1. Research and realization of general-utility. At first important parts of automatic test system such as bus and software standard have been researched.Then based on practical requirements, concrete approach have been got which has been used to realize general-utility of ATE test platform.By modularized and IVI design thought,the platform has been divided into some logic layer.Instruments,bus,TPS and drive belong to different logic layer.And the class drive library has been created above instrument drive library which can serve portability of TPS and interchangeability of instruments.Architecture of software and hardware and design of switch matrix are emphasis. 2. Research of phased array radar test system. The strategy of radar parameter test has been research .Test flow control , communication flow control and database design have been realized.Then the theory and method of fault diagnostic reasoning have been reseached. From fault diagnostic reasoning based on knowledge,expression parsing has been used in knowledge explanation and knowledge representation.The method has been realized in fault diagnostic reasoning of radar. 3. Correlative debugging and testing for platform and radar test system.
