This paper mainly introduces an implementation of channel inner decoding inDVB-T system,including project design of channel inner decoding, arithmeticsimulation of channel inner decoding and FPGA design. The module of channel innerdecoding can be divided to six parts including module of signal constellation andmapping decoding, module of symbol interleaving decoding, module of dataprocessing, module of bit-wise interleaving decoding and module of viterbi decoding.Firstly, based on the rule of signal constellation and mapping in DVB-T system,I advanced a three bits quantization method of signal constellation and mappingdecoding. Secondly, I design project of inner interleaving decoding. Thirdly, Iresearch some arithmetic of viterbi decoding. Finally, the viterbi arithmetic I chosebased on three bits quantization and register exchange arithmetic, its depth ofdecoding is fifty four.In this paper, the theory of COFDM and DVB-T are introduced firstly. Secondly,the project of channel coding in DVB-T system is introduced in detail, because it isthe base of channel inner decoding. Thirdly, based on the arithmetic simulation ofchannel inner decoding in DVB-T system by C language and MATLAB, the FPGAimplementation of channel inner decoding in DVB-T system are brought to success.The hardware implementation of all modules is designed by Verilog HDL language.Finally, the simulation by Quartus II proved that the module of channel innerdecoding can woke efficiently.
