X-ray image intensifier is a high-technical photoelectric imaging product, which can convert and intensify low X-ray image into visible image for human eyes. The intensifier is an ideal X-ray image device with the performance of a clearer imaging, higher brightness, smaller size and lower voltage. The device can be widely used in many fields. But its resolution is only 41p/mm. This restricts its use in nondestructive testing in industry and micro-electron component industry.This paper discusses the factors that affect various capability of the x-ray image intensifier, such as brightness, resolution, noise, lifetime and brightness uniformity. The reporter does not researching emphases on looking high response caesium iodide photo-cathodes, which is many scholar research aims. It is pointed out baking temperature have great influence to various capability signs of the x-ray image intensifier and bring forward the baking temperature and baking time in reason. Through all kinds of ways, the reporter obtains the improved x-ray image intensifier which resolution is 81p/mm and which lifetime is 1,000 hours.The research work haves great practice sense to the production of x-ray image intensifier. |
