It is well known that carbon anode baking is one of the important crucial steps in aluminium industry,the quality of carbon anode will have direct effect on the quality of aluminium electrolysis,the efficiency of electricity,energy consumption and the quality of environment protection. The quality of carbon anode baking is relation to raw material properties,production process,carbon particles and asphalt content,etc. In the baking process,the accuracy of the increasing -temperature curve control and uniformity of the temperature field is the most important for the quality of carbon anode. Therefore,the most essential is improving the technology of anode baking, is also the important issues in the research of aluminum electrolytic industry.In this paper,the author describes the current development of anode baking technology and the gap between internal and international level in producing anode technology.Then the author introduces the effect factors during baking process,baking principles and craftwrk,the whole baking process(material stored and preparatory treatment,calcining,vibratory compaction,baking)etc.The author also makes a systematic analysis of the advantages and disadvantages in the experiments of the current anode baking control systems and their application in production.This article focuses on according to the technical requirements of the temperature of anode baking furnace,studied the characteristic of conventional PID control and fuzzy control systematically, integrated the two control methods,and maked a fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller which has all merit of the two methods.The PID control and the fuzzy control have many kinds of combination way,this article use the fuzzy self-adaptive PID control algorithm.This algorithm can discover the relationship between the three PID parameters and error and error change,constantly checking error and error change in the movement process,then according to the fuzzy control principle carry on the online revision to three parameters,thus enable the controlled object to have the good tendency and static performance.In this article,according to the characteristic of the controlled object,the author design of the fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller,expatiated the detailed design process.In order to the need in industrial production of anode baking,this article uses Siemens programmable logic controller S7-300 as the control core for the system design.Realized the fuzzy self-adaptive PID control algorithm through the programming way,used the off-line computation method to make fuzzy questionnaire,used the online inquiry for the output of the fuzzy control quantity,finally add the PID parameter and datum value,obtained the PID parameter spurt value, carried on the PID operation and obtained the controlled member actuator.Finally,this article carried on the simulation experiment with different control method in MATLAB/Simulink,primarily carried on the simulation debugging for the fuzzy self-adaptive PID control.Comparing to the simulation result,obtained the result that use the fuzzy self-adaptive PID control method to be better able to satisfy the specification of the anode baking, is the use of fuzzy control characteristics of strong adaptability,good dynamic beh this avior and strong resist interference ability and PID control characteristics of dispelling static error.the dynamic and static quality of control system is improved largely when the Fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller is applied, and it has received perfect control effects.This article puts forward a set of approaches concerning the research on anode baking control systems, and has do large amount of theoretical analysis and simulation experiment. The work is proved to be a great significance in improving the quality of anode baking and stability the production of aluminium.
