This purpose of this paper is to analyze the noise of the readout integrated circuit (ROIC), and take some steps to ensure the ROIC that our designed could meet with the design rules. The research way is as followed, after analyzed the noise and channel thermal noise of the MOSFET, and analyzed all kinds of the noise on the basis of the structure of the ROIC, such as KTC noise and FPN noise, then take some steps to reduce the noise. At last, I simulated the unit cell of the ROIC to get the equivalent input noise, and validates that my design is meet with the design rules.The performance of ROIC is seriously restrained by the noise in CMOS ROIC,and the performance of IR FPA,even the performance of imaging system,are affected by these noises. I have done some research on the CDS circuit and take two different CDS circuits with SFD and DI ROIC respectively,and the simulated results by PSPICE are given.At last I have measured the noise of the SFD 16×16 testing chip, and the equivalent input noise is 8.4,more than the simulated results. I analyzed the source of the error.The equivalent input noise of the SFD ROIC simulated by PSPICE is 1.04, less than 2, meets with the design rules.
