In this thesis, a computer control system based on single chip microprocessor MSP430F149 in press brake is designed and researched. The design of the system consists of two parts, hardware and software.In hardware, the control system's circuits are developed in detail. The system includes the main control circuit, the position's examination circuit, the switch circuit and power circuit and so on. Also the points which are pay attention to are given.In the software design of the system, the methods of the design are given in detail. In order to increase the system's precision and ensure that system has no overshoot, the intelligent PID is analyzed and applied, and the results of the simulations show that the good performance can be achieved when the intelligent PID is applied.
