Mobile Digital Library Content Management System Design And Realization

With the technology booming, the mobile telecommunication is more and more applied to the other fields. At the same time, it is urgent to manage the information content on account of the booming of information.In regard to the requirement of the Mobile Digital Library, this article implements a content management system based on the mobile technology - The Mobile Digital Library Content Management System.The main research content and the characteristics of system are as follows:The paper studies the concepts, development and applications of Content Management. Meanwhile, it analyzes the features and sources of the content materials in Mobile Digital Library. And based on all of above, the paper presents the content model of Mobile Digital Library.The article works out a content repository of the Mobile Digital Library, and in order to reuse the resource the article already has, the paper adopts a new concept named adapter in the content model.The paper analyzes the classification, storage and features of the electronical resources, and presents a metadata standard of the Mobile Digital Library. With the help of relation database, it stores the metadata whose format is XML.In order to solve the problems produced by mobile devices, the paper presents a new concept-Transformation Layer. And it optimizes the mobile devices in application to make users more convenient.
