Digital Decoder In The Tv Signal Synchronization Extraction, Recovery Of Chrominance Subcarrier And Chroma Demodulation Part Of The Design And Verilog Implementation

This paper is based on the project of Digital Vedio Decoder which is made with the cooperation of Chengdu Chinaray Microelectronic Co.Ltd. Its main tasks include sync signal abstracting,Y/C separation,color subcarrier recovery,color demodulation and output format conversion.In this paper,the correlative basic theory of TV is introduced at first, secondly the sketchy design of the system is stated. At last, the software and hardware of the system are discussed in detail, especially the design of modules of sync signal abstracting and color process. What I have done in the project are listed below : A): Search and read papers and books which are associated with the project and realize the basic theory and principle of the system.B): Assist to sample the original video data. C): Complete the design of sync signal abstracting,color subcarrier recovery and color demodulation in the software simulation of the systemv. D): Implement the modules of sync signal abstracting,color subcarrier recovery and color demodulation by using Verilog HDL.E): Participate in software and hardware system testing and debugging.The hardware programme of this system has been tested, and it has decoded NTSC/PAL video signals successfully.
