In recent years, as the rapid development of Ethernet, the bandwidth and coverage have been greatly improved. Now more and more work could be carry up by ethernet to reduce cost. But lots of these work needs precise clock-synchronization, such as video stuff, or TDMoIP, which give a big challenge to Ethernet. Synchronization Ethernet(Sync-E), designed by ITU, could fixed these problems.This paper firstly gives a detailed introduction of the basic theory and key technology of Sync-E, then list Sync-E's topological components, functions and Sync-E module's performance requirements. In the module implementation, this paper gives a SSM extensions method, expanding the G.704 specified range which clock quality level information could be load. This SyncE module has been applied in **-company's products. And this product passed with honors in 2010 Deutsche Telekom synchronous Ethernet test. The last part of this paper shows some synce-test results.This paper also summarizes some of the practical device application in the problems and solutions.
