Embed system as the same as computer has almost staged on the market for 40 years. The technology of embed system was appeared in communication field long ago. Following the 16/31-bit microprocessor come out, embed system tend to develop more ways to communicate with other's devices, especially the ability to connect with other's equipment. We compare all kinds of EMPU, and selected MCF5272 as the microprocessor of EIIS. At the same time, we choose the free software uClinux as operation system of EIIS. To the special embed device, we have realised saving, managing, and organizeing datas, and several information interactive ways between EISS and others.It is because that the RAM in embed device is no more than 100M, and Flash ROM is also in small size. To design database system, it is not a good idea to transplant existing database into our embed system. We adopted modular and straticulate method to work out the EDBS. Beside the function of creating, deleting, inserting, revising, searching of table and record-table, the EDBS is also characteristic of micro-kernel, good robustness and flexibility API.Notwithstanding the size of EOS and application system in EIIS is small, there are only 4M Flash ROM. And we need to save many datas in EIIS, so it is important to resolve the problem. It is a good way to design USB interface. USB's size is usually at lest 32M. In the paper, we treatise the hardware structure of USB, transplant it's driver to EIIS, and discuss it's UFTP protocol, and give an example of transferring files through USB device.
