With the rapid development of digital information technology and network technology, the science and technology society has been in the age of latter PC. Due to the influence of the latter PC time, the embedded technology combines tightly with internet technology and industry controlling technology, one of the most important applications is the long-distance state monitoring. Embedded internet technology can be used in all kinds of embedded applications conveniently. Depending on the computer, network and communication technology, with the help of kinds of data collecting equipments, the long-distance equipments can be true manipulated, monitored and controlled.In this dissertations, according to the demand of long-distance monitoring system, it combines embedded and internet technology, and uses B/S mode to achieve it. In this system, nine-point controller is used as the system control policy. The most obvious characteristic of this system is the application of the embedded network, both the part of level controlling and the monitoring part will be completed in the uClinux operate system, and users can visit the web server in other computers of the network and browser the data of the locale, and realize the monitoring aim through the form of intranet visiting the monitoring layout. It can easily connect Web server to intranet, so that users and mangers can visit the monitoring layout of the system at any time and locals by network without installing special user software, which helps us get rid of the restriction of the time and space in the great degree.The hardware design of this system is adopted the widely used and exquisite components, for example, the S3C44B0X which is based on the ARM7TDMI core is used as the processor of the system. For the design of hardware, the design of flash interface, SDRAM interface, UART interface, intranet interface and D/A conversion circuitry should be achieved. The flash memory is used for the storage of bootloader, uClinux core and file system, the SDRAM is used for the operate space of the system, the UART is an expandedness of other communication, the intranet interface can make the system communicate with long-distance internet, D/A conversion circuitry charges the liquid level control data transmission.The software design is depended on the uClinux operating system, and should be completed the tasks as follow: transplanting the uClinux operating system, designing the liquid level control program, building web server on uClinux and displaying dynamic layout, and designing the device drivers of the system.
