People hope they can utilize their data effectively . And they can transform them into useful knowledge and rules as to help their directors make decisions. With this background, Data warehoue(DW) and Data Mining(DM) are developed while the development of connecting computer techniques. DW is a kind of data organizing and managing technique suitable for DSS, while DM is a kind of technique in order to extract the predictive information, which is overwhelmed in the large database. Now these two types of techniques plus OLAP have become a new kind of DSS.As the ripeness of these techniques, the research, how to make them serve enterprise, has been more and more popular. This paper focuses on the usage of DW and DM in the mobile business, which can supply effective decision supporting.Firstly, it introduces the architecture of the DSS supported by the DW and DM, the function of DW, DM and OLAP as well as their appliances and development. Secondly, it introduces the connecting mobile business and their aim of its DSS as well as the structure of its DSS. Thirdly, it analyses the decision demand of using DW in mobile business and specifies the logic model of the two subjects, the customer analysis and the business analysis. It also discuses their ETLs, granularity designs, partition methods. Fourthly, it pays attention to analyse the appliance of the DM in mobile business and makes research on the data transformation during the data preprocessing of the DM. Then it gives a method of the data transformation. Finally, it designs the mining model of the customer segment in the mobile business. And it shows some evaluating methods of the clustering analysis results.By analyzing and designing, we can see DW and DM could play an import role in the enterprise's decision.
