Agent Technology-based Resource Management In Grid Environment

Grid computing is the next generation Internet technical. Grid computing, which integrate worldwide Internet resource into a virtual supercomputer, accomplish compute resource storage resource data resource information resource knowledge resource and expert resource to full share in global. Resource management is an important infrastructure in the grid computing. How to use Grid resource in efficient and rapid manner is play an essential role in grid environment.Agent technique is a fruitful method for developing distributed system, which can provide an ideal approach to solve questions in the grid computing. In current, some researcher advert multi-agent technique in grid resource management, but champion scheme is no found from efficiency, complexity and reliability aspect.The paper proposes a new hierarchy multi-agent system in order to efficient application in grid resource management. The main idea is that both manage resource node and own resource node should coordinate and cooperate each other. And the system takes difference management model according to the resource domain. The paper analyzes and research resource management model and resource schedule strategy. Finally, we construct a simply and efficient resource management system integrate with Globus toolkit.
