Cdma Base Station System, The Network Interface Module

The work in this thesis is research and realization of Net Interface Module.Net Interface Module is a very important part in Base Station Controller of CDMA communication system. There are six sub-modules in it: single-chip unit, data transfer unit, parallel data transfer/receive unit, serial data transfer/receive unit, system reset management and system power unit. This paper studies the design and realization of Net Interface Module, mainly discusses design of data transfer unit's logic and the improvement of single-chip unit's software. Testing and debugging of logic design is also focused.The research work of this thesis mainly includes:Ascertain needed function of Net Interface Module according to the using environment, partition sub-modules of the system. Define function of sub-modules and interface between them in detail.Consummate single-chip's software according to the function definition brought by software/hardware co-design.Logic design and realization in FPGA.Logic testing and debugging.Net Interface Module is a complex data transfer system. The author had accomplished the design and verification of it. This thesis contributes a lot to the development of our country's CDMA communication technology, also accumulates rich experience to research of alike products.
