As the acceleration of economic globalization and the great development of new economy presented by information science and technology, public media industry becomes more and more prosperous and the competition in the media market becomes more and more curious .creating a unique brand becomes a new topic that media industry faces toThis paper describes the situation and the tendency of media industry .and then simply illustrates the character. Facts. Special influence of the powerful media brand, on this basis, this paper gives a SWOT analysis to the inner and outeer environment of the Hunan Transportation Channel, .analyses the advantages, disavantages, chances and threat from other media of transportation channel .suggests series of tactics to expand its influence such as "using CIS", Recreating channel, s culture , reforming management system, chieving multi-operating, Increasing audience, s faith etc. And scheming a plan for its sixth anniversary. Using advertisement and public relations popularization principles .succeeded in promoting the brand of transportation channel.
