Cultural Industries are taking more critical strategic positions in the economic restructuring of our national economy. There is no doubt that Media Industry of Cultural Industries is play a mainstay role while it contributing to our economic development and sustainable development.D Media, one of the first to be listed in HK Stock Market, is facing all the challenges and opportune just like all other Chinese media companies do. After listed in HK, the company changing from a start-up to a corporate and also accompanied issues like:slowing down in the company growth, rising of operating costs, counterbalancing organization structure, losing efficacy of administrative processes, untied sales force… All come together to stop the corporation from winning bigger profit margin and rapid growth. How to fulfill the DOUBLE target in three year term is yet an unsolved question.Using SWOT analysis, we explored externally Opportunity/Threat and internally Strength/Weakness from strategy making perspective. Potential strategies was proposed based on result. Strategies cover Business, Competition and Functions.Strategy shape the structure of corporation, Organization support scale of corporation, process define rapidity of corporation. By utilize standard process, re-define process, flatten organization structure, manage customers and venders, use balanced score card to ensure all the strategy implemented and under control.This paper discuss D Media as a model, in hope ideas would enlighten others with similar concerns.
