This paper is concentrated on the research of the theory and development of the software of The Integrated Monitoring System of Power and Environment of the Post Office. According to the requirement, the implementation of this system adopts the compute mode of Browser/Server. In a Intranet, using computer control system, people set necessary monitoring points to telemeter the power equipment which distributed in different area and collect a large quantity parameters. The worker could monitor the power equipment every time to discover the breakdown and resolve the problem in time. The Integrated Monitoring System can make the power equipment in normal without people to watch. This can realize remote monitoring and concentrating control.This paper adopts advancing technology. These are COM/DCOM, ASP and the Access of Web datebase ,etc. These schemes can not only bring the system a higher real time response, renew the Web pages but also display the alarm information when there is abnormal thing happening. At the same time, the Browser can show the information immediately.This system has many advantages, such as easy to expanding, easy to upholding, easy to operating, friendly Web pages and remote accessing to the different areas. The scheme of this system presented by this paper can preferably satisfy the performance requirement of the monitoring system. This system will play very important basic role to expanding development later.
