ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a substantial part of the informationization and establishment of the modem management system in an enterprise. It is necessary for enterprise to possess more effective means of management in the market economy environment. As a combinative product of advanced enterprise manage ideas and computer technology ERP system has became a powerful tool for every manager to improve their manage level and enhance the competitive capability of the enterprise. But now, ERP is facing a new problem of how to convey the advanced management ideas into high-level enterprise management level. Aiming at the ERP's implement environment and the existing problems, expounding on the basis of ERP principles, with the help of the application examples, this thesis proposes the method to improve the ERP system by establishment of the basic standard demand system.Analyzing current the ERP status at home and abroad, this thesis summariises the theories of different stages, system structure, flows, etc. Based on the ERP management thoughts and discusses the typical ERP management model and important computational algorithm. Using the structure methid, with accordance to the original system graph, from top to bottom, it gives the function models and characteristics of ERP system. With the help of the desiign principle of standardized database, it concludes the approach how to eliminate transfer dependence on the correlative tables, and discusses the way of how to use entity-relationship (E-R) model to design the database. In terms of the design way of network structure and the other practical demands of ERP system and Action company, it gives the solution to the network structure performance. With the reaseacher of the application situation in the foreign enterprises such as Action, this paper prsents to found the ERP's basic standard demand system. The application in Action indicates that the establishment of ERP's basic standard demand system can effectively raise the working quality of ERP system and that further imporve the ERP implementation result. Finally, analyzing the current statu and standard of application in Chinese enterprises, this theis indicates the trends of ERP's application in china.
