The Design And Realization Of The Score Estimation And School-selection Auxiliary Decision-making System For The College Entrance Examination

The college entrance examination is one of the most important examinations in our country's education system. What is more, the assessment of the examinee's score and the school-selection form filling are an important link. However, the traditional information system based mainly on the data inquiry gradually cannot meet the needs of the examinees and their parents. The DW, OLAP and DM are the newly emerging information processing techniques which are playing an increasingly important role in providing the high-level information service. This paper introduces the DW, OLAP and DM in the research on the information management for the educational examinations and makes an analysis of the enrollment examination data, thus making beneficial explorations on how to provide the effective decision-supporting service.Through the study of the data model for the entrance examination of ordinary colleges and universities, starting from the examinee's score assessment and school-selection form filling, together with the data extraction technique and multi-dimensional modeling technique in the DW, this paper has designed a data market with the score assessment and school-selection form filling as the theme, on the basis of which the OLAP DM and model auxiliary decision making technique are comprehensively applied to design, through the techniques of exponent smoothing and one-variable linear regression analysis, an entrance examination score assessment model, and the single-target and multi-target decision-making techniques are applied, through the analysis of the historical enrolment data of colleges and universities, to realize a score assessment and school-selection form filling auxiliary decision-making system.
